Supporting Employee Resource Groups: Torchlight Sponsors ERG Leadership Alliance Symposium

Torchlight was proud to be a sponsor of the first ever ERG Leadership Alliance Symposium (https://www.ergleadershipalliance.com/) held on July 25, 2019, in Boston, Massachusetts. Over 75 leaders of corporate, municipal, and non-profit Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) from New England came together to share best practices, network, and plan next steps for growing these business-critical diversity and inclusion programs.

At Torchlight, we understand the importance of supporting employees with a diverse range of backgrounds, experiences, and needs. ERGs are employee-led (usually voluntary) groups that organize around shared demographics (e.g., gender, race, disability or LGBTQ status) and/or common interest (e.g., caregiving or parenting a child with special needs). As part of a diversity and inclusion strategy, when companies prioritize their employees through targeted support groups, they directly impact their company’s culture and bottom line.

Fortunately, the Torchlight platform is made available to many ERG group members across our customer base and has proven to be a valuable solution that helps employees resolve day-to-day family caregiving challenges and ultimately reduce stress, save time, and increase productivity. We applaud the ERG Leadership Alliance’s efforts at the Symposium and beyond as they provide critical technical assistance so that ERGs launch, grow, and thrive.
