Starting tomorrow, Torchlight will be posting a series of profile, stories, and interviews with some of our nation’s most accomplished leaders in caregiving. First profile: Rosalynn Carter, who has helped to elevate the cause of caregiving and who – through her non-profit, the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving – has worked to support and educate both professional and family caregivers. Because she once was our nation’s first lady, she’s been able to shine a brighter light on the cause than most of us. The work she and her organization have done in more recent years has had a great impact, and that’s one of the reasons Torchlight is naming her, “The Virtual President of Caregiving.”
Please tune in tomorrow, on this blog channel. And if you want to recommend someone for the series, do let us know. The list is long, but we’re in it for the long haul. And we’re looking to make it both educational and entertaining for our community.
