Reuters reporter Beth Pinsker interviewed Torchlight’s founder and CEO Adam Goldberg, M.Ed.. In her piece, she outlines some of the strategic and fiscal returns that a corporate caregiving program can offer a company. Companies across the United States are realizing that caring is good business, and that they, in fact, hire not only the employee, but also the employee’s family.
Goldberg focused his discussion around the savings that companies can achieve when employees have a more efficient process at hand to solve family challenges. This, in turn, can also provide concrete time savings. In addition, by utilizing accessible, readily available public services, an employee can provide his/her family quality resources at a fraction of the cost to the employer.
