Adam Goldberg Talks Caregiving and Modern Employee Benefits to NPR

The largest service provider population in the United States is unpaid, untrained and super busy – they are the 43 million people taking care of their aging parents and the parents of children with special circumstances, according to The National Alliance for Caregiving and AARP.

To chat about this largely silent struggle; a struggle that will effect the majority of us, Torchlight Founder and CEO Adam Goldberg sat down with NPR’s Robin Young in a recent segment of Here & Now.

Adam joined Robin to share his personal background as a caregiver to his autistic aunt during his teenage years through his recent experience with the passing of his father and the responsibilities and family dynamics associated with this difficult event.

Additionally, Adam shared how employers play an increasingly helpful role in the caregiving equation via private, mobile-ready solutions.
