Torchlight is looking to hire a full-time Marketing Director who is interested in playing a key role in enhancing Torchlight’s market presence and accelerating its growth as a member of the leadership team. The position reports directly to the CEO.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Developing, executing, and monitoring an overall marketing plan and budget that rolls up seamlessly into Torchlight’s strategic plan
  • Guiding, collaborating, and coordinating with our digital agency, PR firm, designers, and other external vendors
  • Coordinating and managing events and initiatives: high-profile webinars, speaking engagements, virtual and in-person conferences/exhibits, content marketing vehicles, etc.
  • Coordinating cross-functionally with Product/Content, Sales, Business Development, and Client Success
  • Tracking your performance using potential KPIs that measure sales asset efficiency, progression through top levels of the funnel, qualified leads (inbound/outbound), and brand awareness

Top Five Desired Qualifications:

  • Savvy, even witty, writer and editor, storyteller, great with hard-hitting positioning/messaging in particular (most important!)
  • Proven track record in creating, executing, managing winning marketing plans that connect with and achieve measurable company strategic goals
  • Detailed, diligent, and diplomatic in coordinating and managing both inside and outside resources
  • Strong design/aesthetic sensibility 
  • Skilled with hands on execution and measurement across media formats, digital as the emphasis

Desired Soft Skills:

  • A particular esprit de corps/conviction that loves to beat odds and take on big challenges with the end result of improving people’s lives
  • Extending on our Creative value, having a Resourceful spirit is of mighty value
  • Having a degree of “patient impatience” is looked on favorably
